As an international fine jewellery house of provenance Azza Fahmy brings different cultures and heritage to life through its unique and contemporary designs. Founded in 1969 with Azza Fahmys great passion for design and a desire to translate this passion into jewellery, the Azza Fahmy brand now has an exclusive international reputation with clients including world leaders, royalty, celebrities, and connoisseurs of jewellery worldwide.
Azza Fahmy is uniquely characterized by incorporating different cultures into wearable art while combining it with intricate craftsmanship. Each piece of jewellery revolves around a central inspirational motif, a poem, a piece of literature, a traditional style, a romantic or spiritual idea or simply a beautiful thought. Every piece carries a personal message to its wearer, one they relate to. In recent collections, a modern twist to tradition has been apparent, delivering new contemporary pieces; the epitome of past meets present.
For London Fashion Week, Azza Fahmy Jewellery joined forces with the phenomenal international fashion designer, Julien Macdonald, in 2006, for a two-year collaborative partnership catwalk and capsule retail collections which successfully sold across regional and international markets. And as part of the brand’s 40th anniversary, a new collaborative partnership has been formed in 2010 with the internationally renowned fashion design duo- Preen, Justin Thorton and Thea Bregazzi, the creative collaborative results in an avant-garde collection presented at Preens’ catwalk show during New York Fashion Week in February 2010. In 2012, Azza Fahmy created a Bespoke collection for the British Museum’s Exhibition ‘Hajj: Journey to the Heart of Islam’ entailing historic reflections inspired by Hajj pilgrimage and sacraments.
